If there’s one place that never loses its glamour, and never fails to pique our imagination, it’s France’s urbane capital.

Paris. 17 Bvd Poissonnière. 50 bedrooms. Occupying a property built around about the time the French Revolution ended, Hotel Des Grands Boulevards fusion the citys glamour with just the right amount of progressive attitude.

Opening the door to my room, the words ‘how dreamy?’ whizzed through my mind. I was blown away by the beautiful natural light, charming, antique french doors and the Mediterranean color scheme. The windows spoils you with an enchanting Parisian view over those romantic mansard roofs.

A wide variety of fabrics in thoughtful shades have been combined, tied together with dark wooden beams. Steel and brass finishing highlights the grandiose heritage of the building and brings a hint of the luxurious atmosphere.

The exquisite interiors will have you dreaming of a journey back in time – but a quick glance outside brings you back to modern Paris, where the chic boutiques and Michelin-starred restaurants of the Champs-Elysées await.

The 50 bedrooms, designed by Dorothée Meilichzon weave the collective’s passion for food, wine, cocktails and design. She was inspired by the building’s history dating back to the French Revolution juxtaposed with touches of modern luxury. Inside Hotel des Grands Boulevards she creates a journey back in time with pastoral aesthetics alongside sumptuous colours & fabrics for a relaxing escape from the frenetic Parisian streets.

The mixture of old and new, clean modern lines and antique objects creates an excellent balance.

Apart from the beautiful rooms, helpful staff and great location, one of the best parts of this hotel is the breakfast – so make sure you get it included in your package.
