Villa Marie – a remarkable treasure on the Riviera

Once you arrive at the estate of Villa Marie, it is like you are entering a serene dream taking place in a wild garden. With its Tuscan style, tranquil ambiance and thoughtful interiors chosen by Jocelyne Sibuet herself, the Villa Marie really stands out from the crowd. The 45 bedrooms and suites are unique down to the last detail and are all decorated with a thoughtful tonality.

The atmosphere, rooms and interior

The Villa is filled with beautiful and unique antiques, hearty materials and rare, colorful fabrics that certify that you are located in a very special place. The atmosphere that the Villa brings is luxurious yet homely. It is the perfect hideaway and balm for the soul. Sit on the patio and feel the scents of lavender and wisteria in the warm air and listen to the music of the pouring fountains in the near garden.

Le Club 55

During our stay at Villa Marie, one of the days we decided to enjoy a few hours at the legandary beach club Le Club 55 (actually – the first beach club ever in St-Tropez) on Pampelonne Beach. Le Club 55 is located just a 7 min cab ride away from the Villa Marie. I definitely recommend a visit – it breathes simple elegance and the atmosphere is best described in one word: happiness.

Château de Minuty

In the evening we took a cab to Château de Minuty for a wine tasting – located approximately 17 minutes from Villa Marie. Château de Minuty is located on the St Tropez Peninsular, with its vineyards virtually overlooking the Mediterranean. This rosé is quintessential of the local style, with the blend employing the little-known Tibouren grape, a variety grown almost exclusively in Provence. The visit to the Château was the perfect end to memorable day and evening.
